Rockstar Games has revealed new details about the dynamic weather system coming to Grand Theft Auto VI.
According to new information shared with Game Informer, Leonida will experience tropical storms and seasonal hurricanes alongside its sunnier weather.
The weather system was designed to reflect the tropical climate of Florida, the real-world inspiration behind Leonida.
Rockstar has not yet revealed exactly how frequently major storms will occur or how significantly hurricanes will affect missions and other gameplay.
The addition of severe weather could make exploring Leonida considerably more dynamic, with conditions changing as players travel through the open world.
More information about GTA VI's weather and environmental systems is expected as the game approaches its November 19, 2026 release.
