What Does the Ultimate Edition Add?

The Ultimate Edition adds a set of in-game extras on top of the base game. Take-Two describes it as "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action."

What Do You Get for Pre-Ordering?

You get the Vintage Vice City Pack if you pre-order or buy before November 20, 2026. Digital pre-orders also come with a free month of GTA+, per Take-Two.

Rockstar Support lists the pack as the '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, Outfits and Hairstyles, and an Exclusive Weapon Pattern. The stores state the cutoff more precisely. The PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store both say to buy "prior to 19 November 2026" at 23:59:59.

The GTA+ month has its own deadline. The PlayStation Store says you must redeem it by March 31, 2027. The Xbox Store says you must redeem it within 180 days of placing your pre-order. Physical pre-orders include the Vintage Vice City Pack, but Rockstar Support lists GTA+ only for digital purchases.

Does the GTA 6 Physical Copy Include a Disc?

No. Rockstar Support says "A disc will not be included in the box," and the box holds a code you redeem for the digital download.

The Rockstar Store says the code lets you pre-load from November 12. Rockstar Support expects retailers to ship physical copies and offer pickup from November 12. If you import a boxed copy, confirm the code's redemption region with the seller before you pay.

Is There a GTA 6 Collector's Edition?

There is no collector's edition of the game itself. Rockstar sells a separate collectible box, The Vice City Collection, while supplies last.

TechRadar reports a price of $399 (£349), and that the box "doesn't include a copy of the game." We have not confirmed the $399 figure on a Rockstar page, so treat it as a press report. TechRadar says the Rockstar Store sells it exclusively and it launches November 19, with items such as a Macca the Gator figurine and a double-sided map poster. You still need the Standard or Ultimate Edition to play.

How Do You Buy Safely?

Buy only from the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store, the Rockstar Store or a retailer you already trust. Rockstar Support lists those three stores, plus select retailers, as places to pre-order.

Before you pay, run through this checklist:

  • Confirm the platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X|S) and the edition at checkout.
  • Compare the total in your local currency, with tax.
  • Read the bonus cutoff and whether it applies to digital or physical copies.
  • Check the retailer's cancellation and refund policy.
  • Never share your store password to claim a bonus.
